Travel day to Gold Coast Australia 🥝✈️🦘
Today i have been travelling from Wellington New Zealand to the Gold Coast in Australia, i left home in the car at 8.30am this morning and drove the 2 hours south to Wellington Airport.
Parked the car and went & checked in and then waited until my 12.30pm NZ time flight, we arrived at the Gold Coast around 2.30pm Aus Time.
I cleared customs and went and got the rental car which is a Mazda CX3 and drove the 35 minutes to my accommodation - thank goodness for GPS!

My accommodation is rather nice and is the nicest place i have stayed for work, not sure if i want to go home...might just stay here LOL.
I am on the 18th floor and have a half decent view but i really like having the deck to enjoy.
My accommodation has a kitchen plus a laundry & dryer which i will use to wash my undies daily if needed.
Work starts at 8am tomorrow morning then around lunchtime i go and pick up my co worker from the airport who is here to kick this project off with me.
This place is $184 Aus $ per night which is just about the same as my flight over with Jetstar - that cost $183 Aus $ - cheap as!
Tonight i will be just unpacking and relaxing, already had a steak eggs & mushrooms as there is a supermarket 2 minutes walk from where i am staying.
That has been my travel day to Australia.

The apartment is nice - spacious and got a nice deck. Good for sitting out, enjoying a meal, a drink and the view. 👍😊
