Solar Stats
Today i wanted to share the last six full months of our Solar production, we have twelve Solar panels that provide electricity to the house/powerwall.
This is my view today as i create this Friday post, its been a great day for Solar production.
I have just got back from the Airport where i dropped my partner off as they have a course in Christchurch this weekend, normally its the other way around..her dropping me at the Airport.
Solar
Lets start with March 2023 which was pretty much the last month of Summer here in NZ, we came in at 90% self powered which was pleasing.
March
April still had some great days but we lost the consistency we had in March, 79% self powered for the month was good.
April
In May the weather started to get colder and there seemed to be a lot of cloud hanging around, this meant we dropped to only being 46% self powered -to be fair we were expecting numbers like this for the middle of the year here.
May
June was not a good month for Solar with lots of rain and cloud and only managed to be 40% self powered.
June
July has been the worst month for Solar production with only making it to 35% self powered, the first week we were on the Gold Coast in Australia with clear blue skies!
July
For August the weather was a lot like June with rain everyday it seemed and not a lot of sunshine, 41% was our number for this month.
Aug
Since we have entered Spring the weather has changed quite a bit with blue skies and lots of sun, its rained a couple of time but at night.
September
I am still happy with what we are getting and i am looking forward to having a whole summer with it, January & February will hopefully be hot hot hot!

wow its a sunny Friday morning over there! Good morning from Bangladesh. You are expecting summer and I'm expecting winter at my place in next two months. We had summer since April and this October we may have winter. 12 solar panels certainly the best alternative to electricity, you are saving a lots of energy by having these solar panels.

What is winter like in Bangladesh?
We have foggy cold weather but no snow fall ever in Bangladesh. I wish to travel foreign countries like US, Canada or somewhere I can enjoy snowfall physically not virtually as I enjoy now onscreen. Hope Newzealand has snow fall in winter. Have a nice day.
Yep we get snow but only around the mountains, occasionally you may get some snow further away from them.

In my country Indonesia, the weather is hot and sunny and I'm sure if I use solar panels, the power will be full quickly. Street lights in my city use solar panels
