Daily Pet Photography: orange cats are getting much bigger.

These are my orange cats: big brother Joan and younger sister Kwan. They used to be tiny kittens with shaky legs learning to walk during their second week. Now they are very big and grown into loving adult cats. Their mother left the house after she came back from the hospital (for an operation).

She couldn’t recognise the scent of her children and left them. I was so sad that I failed to put her in a cage for a few days to get adjusted to the surrounding. There was a big brother called Snow as he was mostly white. He was my best cat, very smart and gentle. He got killed by some stray dogs in the next village. His aunt, Rosie led him there to play with other cats. Adopting one stray cat led to six cats in one year. Unfortunately, I am now left with two cats. I hope that will stay with me for a long, long time.

Having these orange cats have made my life much more interesting as they continue to surprise me with their nature and behaviour. These two cats are very loving and gentle beings to have as companions in the house.
