Recently I have been training with my dad. Every monday-friday we get up at seven and on monday, wednesday and friday we do hill runs and and tuesday and thursday we do gym. I am really enjoying my time training and after we train we get into a cold plunge. While me and my dad are doing our workouts my mom jogs on the treadmill.

Cold plunges are when you get into cold water in a tub, we use our jacuzzi.
Taking cold plunges lowers your temperature and makes more blood flow to your core. Once you get out your blood temperature rises for a short while then returns to normal. Taking cold plunges can help pain go away and decrease inflammation.

At first I hated taking these cold plunges but my dad made me do it, now I'm about a week and a half into doing them and I find it alot easier. Today when i took a cold plunge i was in for ten
minutes, normally we only stay in for about three minutes.

When you get into the water it just needs to be at your chest, it doesn't have to be your whole body, up to your neck is the best place for it.
