Flower Bloom in my Garden
Flower name-Crinum Lily
It grows from a bulb and produces large quantities of big and beautiful flowers. The blooms lasts for 2-3 days.
It blooms primarily in the Summer season. The plant goes dormant in the winter season and new growth appears in the Summer season.
Growing conditions-
Pot- The pot should be in size as per the size of the bulb. Small bulbs can be potted in 6-8 inches pot and big bulbs can be potted in 10-12 inches pot. This is because the plant produces large green foliage that grow from 1-2 feet long.
Soil-Should be well-draining to prevent rotting of bulb. Soil should consist of a mixture of sand, garden soil and compost.
Water-In Summer, water 2-3 times per week and the next watering should be done whenever the top 1-2 inches layer of soil seem dry.
Sunlight- The plant blooms the maximum in the presence of direct sunlight. Keep the plant outside in a spot accordingly during Summer season.
Fertilizer-A mixture of bone-meal, DAP, etc. before the Blooming season starts should be applied as per the size of the bulb.
