Last week I had a long and joyful walk along the Neva embankment looking for a running man to photograph, remember? Today I will share other photos from that day. They fit perfectly with the #streetphoto theme, because looking around I was focusing my camera not on architecture, but mostly on people and their activities; in my opinion, this is what the real #streetphoto is about: life of the city, life of the streets, reportage about what is happening here and now. The cool thing about it is that you are supposed to find something typical of today and unique, at once, to capture surprising moment, that will not happen again. Your luck can be solid or small... on this walk I was lucky to take some good shots. Enjoy:
An interesting scene in a very secluded corner of the embankment: training sparring between two wrestlers, and an old coach in charge. I have to admit, this is the first time I've seen such a scene! I could take only one shot ... and still not sure if I left unnoticed by the old man. At least the wrestlers did not noticed me, so nobody posed in this photo. xD #streetphoto is definitely NOT about staged photos.
Grandmother with granddaughter (and no gray wolf around!). The city authorities still keep this monument to Lenin known as 'Lenin standing on an armored car' near the Finland Railway Station. In the 2000s, some folks even tried to blow up the monument, and for almost a year it stood with an intriguing 1m hole below the navel :) but I dont have any photographs from that time.
Here probably we see a young adept of fishing.
A bag of chips, tik tok videos and chat on your phone, an earpiece with music, nail polish, stickers... what else does the modern generation need? A! I forgot about a cup of latte. Some of them also would love to handle a bike...
...but most will agree to rent scooter on a hourly basis, it's more easy and comfortable. Everyone wants more comfort. Nobody wants any excessive stress.
And the last one. Let me round up with art (for you to have a better after-taste). Of course, this art is for sale, and it is mostly aimed at city tourists.

внучка была не в красном платье, а в красной шапочке )))
В канонической версии, так. Теперь стоит надеть красную шапку, и все остальное дорисовывается моментально. Но зайдем с другой стороны: зато бабушка-то налицо!
... а как насчёт корзины с пирожками и охотников? ))))
Так, охотник был я! В кустах с фоторужьём. А последний пирожок съел голубь - видите, как он улепетывает в углу кадра? Двум голубям пирожков не досталось, один все еще выжидательно смотрят на бабушкину сумку, а один уже понял, что давалка закончилась.
таки голуби здесь вместо волка?... не, они по пирожкам... а кто тут по бабушке? )))
Ну, лично я волка не заметил, не исключено что он в наличии, но мы не совпал в моменте времени; Вы Зритель, вот и расскажите о своей интерпретации, а вы всё норовите у меня выспросить что да как - в искусстве так принято?
