Hi friends!
Steps stones up to the village, realized as an experimental work, done using Wombo Dream AI and then post-processed in Photoshop.
I hope you like it.

Artificial intelligence can help in the creation of digital art, but I do not know how to treat it.

This is no longer human creativity...on the other hand, the task is set by a person and is directly involved... everything is complicated... :-))

hi dear friend! Nice to see you again.
The answer is not easy because it needs extensive analysis, but think about this:
When or where does the creative process begin...in the human mind or in the human hand?
Is a photographer less creative than a painter?
Is an artist who makes a realistic portrait creating something or is he/she simply imitating the light that is receiving as a camera does? Should this artist be less valued for this?
Many, many, of the creations that we admire from the great masters of the art, come from the hands of their students or apprentices in their workshops who followed the instructions of their teachers, like the instructions we give to AI software. We don't question that.
Why is AI not a human activity? why an instrument is used? With the same reasoning, we could say that photography is not human creativity.
I believe that we must learn to appreciate the difference when a work arises from the instructions of an amateur without artistic knowledge or sensitivity or when it arises from the mind of an artist who knows what he/she wants and knows how the work should be done giving the necessary instructions and, sometimes, carrying out hundreds of tests to get what he/she has in mind.

It's hard to disagree with you. It is also difficult to understand the difference in creations.
Yes, the camera captures what the lens is pointing at. But the choice of object, plot, composition... in the photographer's head :))

It's harder for me to judge the works of artists, but there are the same rules. And when a student writes part of the picture, he still follows the rules set by the Artist-author.

From this angle, AI can be viewed as an artist's apprentice or an apprentice))

I think AI can be seen as a new tool that artists need to learn to know and use.
I believe that the paradigms must be renewed.
If you have tools like a pencil, an eraser, drawing paper, rulers and squares... does all of that make you a draftsman or even an artist? Certainly not.
We must learn to see digital tools in the same way, simply as tools and be attentive to see what people create to judge them by their creations and not by the tool used.
Many times we make the mistake of judging an artwork by the effort and time it has taken to do it and not by its creative or aesthetic value.

Yes, I agree. AI is primarily a tool and as I understand it, it is primarily a tool for the head, not for the hands :)
It turns out that we draw with words. Yesterday I tried to create an old raven using AI. This tool is not always friendly with proportions and does not respond to all words. But I liked this process :)

Wonderful work
