Celtic Knotwork - knotwork panel IX

Hi friends!

This knot is very similar to the previous one but there is an important difference, notice the interlacing: on the right side we could say that we have a triple interlacing, then in the central portion of the knot we could say that we have a double interlacing, and then on the left side we have a simple intertwining.
We'll see how to draw this endless loop.

First, draw a shape like the one I have drawn below.

The next step is to make a grid like the one below.
The right side is 8 cells x 6 cells,
the middle portion is 7 cells x 4 cells,
and the left side is 7 cells x 2 cells.

After the eighth column, counting from right to left, draw a break line over the two central rows.

So, we can draw the loop the same way we did in the previous exercises.

At this point, and before continuing, it will be useful to check if we obtain an endless loop.

Now it's time to widen the loop and also do the interlacing.

Clean up your drawing...

and also colour the loop...

Apply colour to the background too.
