RE: Seat me Up!

That looks really good and thanks for showing how it is done. I might suggest that were I to that I would "Triangulate" the rectangular with a cross brace which would greatly enhance the long term viability of the piece and sturdiness of the piece increasing stability in case some huge person flipped onto, kids did the jump and bounce routine, and there's always a trip and fall possibility.😜

Again great!

Thank you so much for your remarks and feedback!

Actually, I was really focused on the suspension system and webbing design before getting the sofa made. I discovered that these details add to the sofa's finesse and durability—and, of course, its cost. The worker here is local, doing his best with the knowledge he has. Thankfully, my kids don’t jump on the sofas (they never really have), and we’re all under 80 kg, so I think it should hold up just fine! Hehehe. But your advice is spot on.

Did you notice the webbing is made from recycled tires? I mentioned it in the blog as well! Do you use something similar over there?

For my butt? Maybe the strips cut from 10 ply steel mesh braided tire treads.

No parent ever knows when their children jump on the beds, tables, chairs, and most so tired they sleep through it
