Eye-pleasing beauty of unknown flowers || "Photographing Flowers Week #2" || by @janindu
The train ride from Colombo to Badulla is one of the most popular trains rides among not only Sri Lankans but also foreign tourists. You can see many beautiful sceneries of tea estates, waterfalls, villages, tunnels, and many other natural aspects in Sri Lanka.
The train ride takes around 12 to 14 hours because it travels slowly. That helps to experience more time in those sceneries. During the journey, we meet lots of beautiful railway stations maintain cleanly and highlighting natural beauty. Most of those beautiful stations are located in the upcountry, where the climate is a little bit cold.
This beautiful bed of flowers caught my eye at Ohiya railway station. Most of these flowers are not popular species and they naturally grow on top of hills and in the wild without interaction of any human action. Sometimes we can see thousands of these flowers beautifully grown with multiple colors.
Greetings friend @janindu
It must be pleasant to enjoy a peaceful train ride while taking in the beautiful scenery where flowers carpet the surrounding grounds. Nice pictures.
