Saludos, me complace en presentarles mi participación en el concurso Weekly Contest. "DRAWING, Week #2 creado por @adeljose de la comunidad de la comunidad World Of Xpilar el cual cosiste en dibujar un dúo animal basado en una fotografía tomada por nosotros.

Lázaro & Yellow

En el año 2019 mi mamá adoptó a un perro llamado Lázaro, lo que no sabíamos tiempo después es que a mi hijo le regalarían pequeño gato al que él nombró Yellow debido a color de su pelaje, yo tenía mucho temor que el perro le pudiera hacer daño al diminuto gatito, pero en casa nos quedamos asombrados con lo bien que se la llevaban, en un principio los juegos del perro ocasionaron que el gato perdiera un poco su pelaje pero después de un tiempo esto mejoró, Yellow suele dormir conmigo pero cuando el perro vivía aquí (ahora vive en casa de mi hermana) él se acostaba encima del perro Lázaro tal cual como lo hace conmigo en las noches y se quedaban dormidos los dos, pude capturar esta foto en junio de 2019, es una de mis favoritas y por eso decidí dibujarla. Estas lindas mascotas demuestran que los perros y gatos no son enemigos naturales.

In 2019 my mom adopted a dog named Lazaro, what we didn't know some time later is that my son would be given a small cat that he named Yellow because of his coat color, I was very afraid that the dog could hurt the tiny kitten, but at home we were amazed with how well they got along, at first the dog's games caused the cat to lose a little of his fur but after a while this improved, Yellow usually sleeps with me but when the dog lived here (now he lives at my sister's house) he would lay on top of the dog Lazarus just like he does with me at night and they would both fall asleep, I was able to capture this photo in June 2019, it is one of my favorites and that's why I decided to draw it. These cute pets prove that dogs and cats are not natural enemies.

Proceso del dibujo / Drawing process

Para elaborar este dibujo utilice un lápiz grafito HB para hacer el boceto sobre el papel bond blanco, luego utilice lápices de colores comenzando por el gato con color crema, jengibre y mostaza. Para el perro utilice también color crema y jengibre, pero adicional a estos utilicé marrón siena, café oscuro y por último negro para el hocico y las partes más oscuras. Para el fondo del piso utilice color verde jungla y aguamarina, para la pared gris claro y oscuro, para el marco de madera de la puerta utilicé marrón siena y café oscuro, una vez que le di color a todo utilicé el color negro para dar sombras. El dibujo mide 20 centímetros de ancho por 14 centímetros de alto.

To make this drawing I used a graphite pencil HB to make the sketch on the white bond paper, then I used colored pencils starting with the cat with cream, ginger and mustard. For the dog I also used cream and ginger, but in addition to these I used sienna brown, dark brown and finally black for the muzzle and the darker parts. For the background of the floor I used jungle green and aquamarine, for the wall I used light and dark gray, for the wooden frame of the door I used sienna brown and dark brown, once I colored everything I used black to give shadows. The drawing measures 20 centimeters wide by 14 centimeters high.
