The World of XPILAR - CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #092 - Makarov Embankment in St. Petersburg
I would like to submit to the urban landscape competition photos that I took a couple of weeks ago while walking along the Admiral Makarov Embankment on the Vaslyevsky Island of St. Petersburg, Russia. First of all, I was interested not even in the embankment itself, but in the views that open from it. For example, to the old football stadium.
It was built back in 1925 and for many years it was the home arena for Zenit - the only football club in our city.
Now Zenit has a new, more spacious and modern stadium. As for the old stadium, its fate is in question. Perhaps it will be demolished, but I personally would not like it.
And here is the embankment itself.
Of course, there are many marinas where pleasure ships are moored.
And here in the photo you can see a boat of river rescuers.
And this is actually an art object. It appeared here this summer. For some reason, it was decided to decorate one of the mooring pipes with the capital of the Corinthian column, painted in the color of rust. I have questions about this art object)) And the main question is: why?))
Each photo can be opened in full size, and I recommend you to do this. Thank you!))

с буйком красным очень интересно. А вот артобъект навевает печаль. Сам по себе ужасен.
