Pastel on chilboard (portrait study)
Hi fellas here is a study portrait of young beautiful lady done with chalk pastel with lovely smile on her chick's
Giving a total attention to my colour scheme and looking towards the end result.
Firstly I enjoyed the shade under the hat which give high constract to image showing d effect of chiaroscuro painting.
Please enjoy the use of colour interpretation.

Nice drawing, I have never dared to paint with pastels, it seems to me that it is difficult.
Chalk pastel have the similar or method application in using oil or acrylic paint.
I usually blocking in painting so I applied the method to chalks pastel to then applying the second layer makes the color to stay on the first layer which brings solidity and make the colour mor matured. Thanks.

The harmony of contrasting colors together looks very striking. There are even pictures that look different with 3D glasses, it reminded me of that 😀 Good work 👍
