WOX TRAVEL || Kolkata Tourism Fair

Greetings friends of Steemit and WORLD OF XPILAR

There was a tourism fair held in Kolkata for three days 2, 3 & 4 August. The fair was supported by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Incredible India (Mission of the tourism department to promote Indian tourist attractions both in India and abroad). I visited the fair today.

There were some sponsored vendors of Incredible India who were given table space for the promotion of service and package they offer to visitors. Their tour packages are approved by Ministry of Tourism and their promotional leaflets are allowed to print the mission statement Incredible India.

In Kolkata there are holidays during Durga Puja festival in the month of October. People used to plan their vacation in advance. So in the fair both travel agents, tour operators and tourist can meet each other and discuss about the tour package and book tour against nominal payments also.

There was also a lucky draw for a Dubai trip of two nights and three days including flight fair and other incidental cost among all visitors.

There were some state government tourist departments pavilions like West Bengal, Chattisgarh, Andaman Nicobar, Assam and Sikkim.

There were many options of Mountain, Sea, Forest, Bird Sanctuary, Religious places etc.
