PENCIL DRAWING TITLE "CONTENTMENT"

Hello everyone! Hope you are doing fine today.
Here is my just recent art piece title “CONTENTMENT”
Size: 34x42 inches.
Medium: Charcoal and graphite on Strathmore paper

Some people view being content as a negative. They think you should never feel content and should always strive for growth.
To me, contentedness isn’t about being stuck with where you are in life.
Being content is about being able to appreciate where you are at that moment in time instead of sulking about what you don’t have or constantly thinking the grass is greener on the other side.

There are many ways how one can be content but am going to point out my favorite two;

1. Do what you love: Doing what you love makes being content much easier. It boosts your self-esteem and yourself worth, and makes you more motivated to try new things in life as well.
2. Be Grateful: Try practicing gratefulness by learning to enjoy and appreciate what you already have.
   Accepting yourself for who you are gives you unlimited freedom to happiness.

Most things that bring content are not bought or costly. They might be right in front of you.
Creating this piece has thought me to draw what I see, as I see it, in my own way, without regard for the desires or taste of others.

Materials used in creating this piece:
Strathmore paper
General's charcoal pencil (2B, 4B, 6B)
Graphite pencil (2B, 8B, 12B)
Blending stump
Tissue paper (for blending)
Tombo mono eraser
Flat paint brushes and make up brushes
