Contest "Photographing Architecture"- the most beautiful staircase in Verona
Hi friends, it's probably the first time I've published in this community, but while browsing Steemit I saw this interesting contest organized by @xaviduran also because I'm very lucky, so I plucked up the courage and wanted to participate, also because the theme was very interesting that was addressed in this contest: THE STAIRS
I consider myself very lucky because I live in a country like Italy where there are many important or particular scales on an architectural level, but in this contest, as the goal of my YouTube channel, is also something less touristic, let me explain perhaps less known by tourists, that's why I wanted to bring a staircase, also called the staircase of reason, because I have always liked this staircase and it is located in the capital city of my province, which I think many of you surely know because it is called Verona, and is famous all over the world for the story of Romeo and Juliet.
I like this photo that I took again last year in September, when I visited this place, because the material that was used to build it is the famous red Verona marble, a product that is found here in the mountains near Verona , and which is important for these places because there are so many companies that work this marble and send it all over the world.
This staircase in particular, which was built around 1400, joins the Palazzo della Ragione in Verona where the podestà lived and you think that once upon a time at least until around 1800, this staircase was designed to be completely covered by a wooden loggia which was then probably due to a fire it was removed.
In this way whoever arrived at the lodge could climb this staircase without getting wet, the thing that impresses me the most when I'm in contact with these architectural assets is just thinking about how old they are and how they got to our times, certainly the use of excellent materials and excellent construction techniques has allowed this.
I hope you enjoyed the photo also because I'm not a professional photographer but I try to do the best I can
Thank you for reading this post I'm glad it's organized see you!
I invite you to participate in this contest: @stefano.massari @alegnita @robytrix
Hello @hotspotitaly
Thank you very much for your participation.
The staircase you present to us is spectacular, because of the history and the environment in which it is located. The angle of the shot is not bad, although you could have placed yourself a little more to your left to see the wall on the right, and avoid cutting the photo in that corner, which doesn't tell us much.
In any case, and in general terms, we can say that the photo describes the subject quite well, which is none other than the staircase. Good shot.
Greetings and we look forward to seeing you in the next edition of the Fotografiando Arquitectura contest.
If you are interested in the topic, I invite you to take a look at the tutorials I wrote about it. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hola @hotspotitaly

@xaviduran Thanks for your advice. I will treasure what you told me,it is recently that I approached the world of both photography and video which, let's say, is the thing that attracts me the most but I certainly have to improve a lot because I too realized that this photo was partly too cropped.
anyway seeing your works here on steemit I'm learning a lot!!

Thanks for your comment, but I could have done a little better, But the thing that attracts me more than anything else is the story behind this staircase
Your participation in this contest is beautiful. You're right, what you photographed is a beautiful staircase, a wonderful example of 1400 architecture. Thanks for the invitation to participate. If I can think of something I can participate with I will try to participate to this contest
