Update on my photography lessons
A new update on my lessons today came out with such beautiful photos. I was again given a chance to explore the community with Isaac and Phillip from Belgium. This time, Isaac became my best teacher on photography! He is a professional in that field so was happy to give me more hints and tips ok how to shoot better photos.
While walking around, a sound of the Rwenzori turaco was noticed in a distance. The guests were actually so interested to see this bird but as we kept on following the call, we discovered the bird was inside the national park; Mgahinga national park.
We were allowed to enter and pay some fees in order to look for the same bird and other species. We came across this beautiful reptile; the chameleon. Phillip feared this while Isaac felt in love and touched him. It was a lovely pose!
The clear view of Mount Sabyinyo became clearer as we walked closer. The day was so clear showing no rain 🌧️ signs. This pushed us to keep the move looking for the birds.
Following the calls, the bird stopped and hid as soon as we were almost approaching the spot, we quietly waited for almost half an hour while getting ready with our cameras, but the bird didn't come. It was a silent hour😌 !
But other beautiful birds that came closer to us inspired us more and motivated what we were looking for. I finally got a list of the birds we encountered rather than the turaco;
Yellow whiskered greenbul,
Mountain greenbul,
Dusky Crimsonwing,
Regal sunbird,
Greater double colored sunbird,
Kandit's waxbill,
Albertine boubou,
Ladgen's bush shrike,
Mountain masked apalis,
Northern puffback,
Doherty's bushshrike,
Yellow bellied waxbill,
Strange weaver ,
Western Tinkerbird ,
Red faced woodland warbler
and Archer's Robinchat
