Millennium Bridge, London

London's millennium bridge started construction in 1998 and initially opened in June 2000.

is located between Southwark Bridge and Blackfriars Railway Bridge.

Its end of the southern side is near the Globe Theatre, the Bankside Gallery, and Tate Modern,

while its other end of the northern side is next to the City of London School below St Paul's Cathedral

Londoners also call it the "Wobbly Bridge"

due to the fact that people who crossed the bridge on it's opening day experienced a swaying movement

After this incident The bridge was closed so that modifications and repairs could take place and officially reopened in February 2002.
