summer in paros a greek island

As summer approaches I thought of my last vacation in Paros an island of Greece

we all know that summers in Greece are more than wonderful

It is estimated that Greece has about 1,200 to 6,000 islands
although most of them are quite small and uninhabited

The islands of Greece are divided into different groups, the 7 main groups are:

• Eptanisa.
• Cyclades.
• Dodecanese.
• Northern Aegean.
• Sporades.
• Saronic Gulf.
• Other (Crete+ Euboia)

Paros belongs to the Cyclades group located in the central Aegean Sea.

Paros has many sunny beaches and crystal clear waters, which is why it is considered as an ideal place for all tourists

If you are a fan of Kiteboarding, then Pounda Kite Beach is definitely a place for you.

Pounda Kite Beach has the ideal conditions to learn and practice Kiteboarding

..side winds, shallow water and a large sandy beach that helps with preperation,launch and landing

The capital, Parikia, is located in a bay on the northwest side of the island

In the town of Parikia, the houses are built and decorated in a traditional Cycladic style,

with flat roofs, whitewash walls and blue-painted doors,window frames and shutters

On the north side of the island is the bay of Naoussa (Naussa)

Paros, like many other Cycladic islands, has a unique sunset
people usually gather in the evenings near the bay to watch the sunset

This was Paros a wonderful Greek island
