Just like a vase, she holds beauty and grace but is easily shattered by the harshness of the world. This piece is a reminder of the vulnerability we all carry within us, despite our outward appearance. This is the human spirit and a call to treat each other with the gentleness we deserve because you never know what each person is made of.

I used masks as a way to hide vulnerabilities real or perceive, innate or outward.

The bunny mask is from another illustration and was imported in like a collage piece which is one of my art process is putting different art pieces together even though they were not made for each other initially.
