New drawing: Sloth.
Hello everyone,
A beautiful morning to you all. I bring to you my recent drawing which is a drawing of a Sloth. I just remember the movie Zootopia and the character "Flash" inside the movie. It featured in one of the most funniest scenes in the movie. I remembered I was wondering, could a particular animal be that slow? That made it my choice of art this morning.
Before drawing, I read some amazing facts I never knew before about the animal. First was why are they so slow. The answer I got was that its due to their diet. They eat common leaves they can reach which are low in nutrients and lacks necessary energy for normal activities. Really? Never knew that before. The most fascinating fact I read about them also was the fact that they could lose great part of their body weight while pooping. Wow!!! That is serious. Finally they are also one of the most smartest animals. Never saw that one coming.
Therefore, drawing them made me know more about them that I did before and I also want you guys to know too incase you don't before.
The drawing was done on Autodesk Sketchbook using primary pencil only on black background and I got my reference photo here .
