New Contest Super Macrophotography Week 21 | World Of Xpilar | Butterflies
Hello steemit friends back again with @girls-steem. In today's post, I'm back in participating in a contest held by @sultan-aceh, namely CONTEST MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY, this contest is directly supported by @xpilar who acts as a Leader, as well as the DUNIA XPILAR admin community.
Today I'm going to show you one of the pictures I took using macro photography techniques.
On this occasion I will show you one type of insect that I managed to catch through my cellphone camera.
Butterflies are animals belonging to insects, and belong to the class Insecta with the order Lepidoptera. Butterflies as we usually see have scaly wings, sometimes the color of butterfly wings resembles the eyes of other animals, this is camouflage from butterflies to protect themselves, such as eyes and various other forms of camouflage. In simple terms, butterflies are distinguished from moths or night butterflies by their active time and physical characteristics. Butterflies are generally active during the day (diurnal), while moths are most active at night (nocturnal). Butterflies rest or perch on their wings, moths land by spreading their wings. Butterflies usually have beautiful brilliant colors, moths tend to be dark, dull or gray. However, there are always exceptions to this distinction, so it cannot be scientifically confirmed that butterflies have a very short lifespan. In fact, an adult butterfly can live for a week or almost a year depending on the species. Most species go through a rather long larval stage, and some may become dormant at the pupa or egg stage in order to be able to wade through the winter. Butterflies can lay eggs once or many times each year. The number of offspring per year varies depending on the climate, with butterflies living in the tropics able to lay eggs more than once a year. Butterflies generally live by sucking flower nectar (nectar / flower essence). However, some species such as the liquid sucked from fruit that falls to the ground and rots, carrion meat, bird droppings, and wet soil. In Indonesia, in several places, business actors carry out breeding of various types of butterflies from various types of butterflies by producing various butterflies with colorful variations that are very beautiful to the eye. However, butterflies that are developed in captivity are still preserved and sold at prices that vary according to the color combinations attached to the butterfly, and sometimes become preserved key necklaces, even as table decorations. one of them is the balance of the Natural Ecosystem, for example the butterflies that are around us, and hopefully we become people who can take care of the natural Ecosystem.
