Hello steemit friends back again with @girls-steem . in today's post I'm back in participating in a contest held by @sultan-aceh namely CONTEST MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY, this contest is directly supported by @xpilar who acts as Leader, and also admin of the XPILAR DUNIA community.

Today I'm going to show you one of the pictures I took using macro photography techniques.

On this occasion I will show you one type of insect (pest) that I managed to catch through my cellphone camera.

One of the common insects that live around us is the squash insect. They can live through changing seasons where we can find them in sheltered places such as under leaves, plant remains, around buildings, even under rocks. The lifespans of these insects are overlapping stages and they can all be seen at any given time during the growing season. The Coreidae pumpkin aphid, in the true aphid order living under the species Anasa tristis, is considered a potential problem on all vegetable crops in the cucurbit family.

Squash bugs are very difficult to manage once they get out of control and can cause a lot of chaos.

They are most commonly found on pumpkin plants (hence the name) such as zucchini, winter squash, and squash, but they can also affect other plants in the cucurbit family (such as cucumbers, melons, and watermelons). Other pests commonly found on pumpkins include the pumpkin fruit borer and aphids. These insects inject poison into the plant and suck up the sap with their sharp sucking mouths. This causes yellow spots that eventually turn brown. The leaves will wilt because the damage blocks the flow of nutrients to the leaves, then dry out and turn black, dry, and brittle. The leaves also sometimes have uneven holes. Smaller plants will die, and eating squash insects can destroy young fruit.
