New Contest Super Macrophotography Week 20 | World Of Xpilar | The Beauty of Wild Flowers

Hello steemit friends back again with @girls-steem. In today's post I'm back in participating in a contest held by @sultan-aceh namely CONTEST MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY, this contest is directly supported by @xpilar who acts as Leader, and also admin of the XPILAR DUNIA community.

Today I'm going to show you one of the pictures I took using macro photography techniques.

On this occasion I will show you one type of flower that we often encounter. This flower is a wild flower, which I found on bushes. This flower is a shy princess flower. Here is a picture that I have prepared for you.

Putri malu or Mimosa pudica is a short shrub belonging to the legume tribe that is easily recognized for its leaves that can quickly close/wilt on their own when touched. Although some members of the legume can do the same thing, the shy princess reacts more quickly than the other breeds. This wilting is temporary because after a few minutes the situation will return to normal. The uniqueness of this plant is that when the leaves are touched, blown, or heated, they will immediately "close". This is caused by changes in turgor pressure in the leaf bones. The stimulus can also be felt by other leaves that are not touched.

This motion is called seismonasti, which, although influenced by touch stimuli (seismonasti), for example, the seismonasti movement of the Putri malu leaves does not care where the touch comes from.

This plant also buds at sunset and blooms again after sunrise.

The shy princess plant closes its leaves to protect itself from plant-eating animals (herbivores) who want to eat it. The color of the lower leaves of the shy princess plant is paler, showing a pale color, animals that had wanted to eat this plant will think that the plant has withered and become no longer interested in eating it.
