This time I want to participate again in a macro photography contest held by @sultan-aceh namely CONTEST STEEMINKLUSIVE-MACROPHOTOGRAPHY-COMMUNITY WORLDOFXPILAR, and this contest is directly supported by @xpilar who acts as Leader, and also admin from the XPILAR community DUNIA. this I will post wildflowers flowers.

Calincing (Oxalis barrelieri) or Belimbing Hill / Starfruit Sand / Starfruit Land originating from the West Indies and South America and Tropical America can be useful in dealing with food poisoning. But we need to be careful with the leaves. Lavender Sorrel leaves are the most dangerous part of the plant when used a lot and continuously because of the oxalic acid content, especially for people with rheumatism, arthritis, gout, kidney stones or hyperacidity.

Consuming limited leaves in a reasonable amount, can still cause benefits. To reduce the oxalic acid, it can be boiled before being processed or used.

The content of the benefits of this plant is very much, such as, herbal medicine for urinary tract infections, launches menstruation, lowers fever, high blood pressure, relieves flu, diarrhea, treats inflammation of the kidneys, liver, and respiratory tract as well as chronic hepatitis medicine.

Usage :

medicine in the way by boiling the herbs and drinking boiled water, 2 times / day. Or in another recipe, 25 grams of leaves and stems of Oxalis barrelieri are boiled in 2 cups of water for 15 minutes, the water is drunk for morning and evening.

For external medicine (herbs are mashed and then used as a dressing) which is useful for treating burns, cuts, insect bites, ulcers, overcoming prickly heat and others.

Although it is considered a weed (consider as weeds) that grows on roadsides, unkempt land, edge of bunds (rice fields, gardens, fields) or shady places, considering its beautiful flowers and uses, this wild plant is also worthy domesticated.
