Phone capturing the beautiful sea.
It was January 4th, 1980, in Mar del Plata. Summer was shining intensely, and the city was packed with tourists. The beaches were filled with laughter, music, and the typical hustle and bustle of vacation. The air was charged with that special energy that comes with the heat and the freedom of long days. It was a time when falling in love seemed easy, as if love floated in the air, drifting with the wind between the waves of the sea.
The family decided to spend the day at the breakwater, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sound of the water crashing against the rocks. The sea, deep and blue, reflected the clear sky while a fishing boat slowly arrived at the port. It was a ship from Colombia, painted in bright colors, as if it carried with it the warmth of its homeland.
Among the people disembarking from the boat, a young sailor caught the attention of a girl who was with her family. Their eyes met for a moment, but that was enough for something special to happen. The noise of the city disappeared around them, leaving only the two of them, trapped in an inexplicable connection. He smiled at her, and she, though shy, couldn’t help but smile back.
It seemed like fate had brought them together in that port. Over the following days, they met again and again, walking along the promenade, between the waves of the beach and the sunsets that painted the sky orange. It didn’t matter that he was from another country, nor that their time together was short. What they experienced in those days was an intense love, sincere and full of promises.
The ship eventually had to set sail, but the love story that was born in that summer remained etched forever in their hearts.
