The Diary Game III, Novemeber 5, 2020
We have finally seen ETA leave this country, currently it is in front of the northern cost of Belize as a depression. Still we are receiving rain still which makes the rescue operations more difficult. We are going to have major problems, we still don't know the complete consequences but we do have major damage in our road network, in communications, a lot of food crops have been lost and the major industrial city is flooded and I don't think they will be back working for at least a week.
As for myself I was without internet signal and cable tv from Wednesday at 5:00pm, cable was partially back on Thursday afternoon bit the Europa League channels were part of those not available so I missed everything, in fact it wasn't until today at noon that the internet came back so I am just now getting up to date.
On Wednesday night I was able to sleep for nine hours, I really needed that after three days of just two or three hours sleep, but last night I was back in the rut, two hours of sleep. But when I got up at eight it was a bright day cloudy but with the sun out a nice reprieve. So of course I took my walk, I had to do some transactions at a bank but since there was no internet was not working, it isn't working good today either, so I will wait until tomorrow to make my transactions.
We are, because of the pandemic allowed to go shopping or banking only once every five days according to the last digit of our ID, but this was suspended because of the storm and we are able to do anything regardless of our digit, we needed that, even if it is just for a few days.
This morning I as I wasn't able to sleep and I had no internet I just watched the updates on the US election, not that I really am so interested in it, but it is the only show in town right now, I probably know more about these elections than the average US citizen, in fact I know so much that I am now tired of it, I just want to know what the final result will be.
So that was about it for me yesterday, and today was looking good but we have rain again so I am restricted to home I don't even get to go to the gate. I am including some photos that were around on the social networks from different parts of the country. This was no joke.
These two are pictures of cattle on the roof of houses, the house you see is the second story of a house. These are from the part of the country that was hardest hit.
Dios les guarde y libre. Bendiciones.

He wrote about the day in a very beautiful way
Friend with your diary I can see the great reality of the disasters that ETA is producing, it is something amazing and in the middle of a pandemic. I hope that the mercy of God covers you all and how unfortunate are the great losses that have occurred. I hope you can rest more than expected. Blessings.
