My Steem Outlook
I joined the Steem network 3 years ago, which is about one and a half months before the ATH (all-time high) of Steem. For me, that was my best Steem experience up to date. It was the best because of the significant engagement among Steemians and also because of the hyped price of Steem.
There are several users that are promoting Steem in other social media platforms and the network is growing organically until we reach the top 1000 website in Alexa rankings.
Steem is marketed as a decentralized social media platform where users can earn money through blogging. It’s true, every user can monetize their content which I can attest as well. The only issue is that will it be worthwhile for a user to participate in the social aspect of Steem?
It really depends on how a user perceives Steemit. The Steem blockchain has been proven to be a reliable technology with the capability to support Dapps. On top of that, the transaction in the Steem network is fast and free.
Now that we established Steem as reliable blockchain technology, the next thing we wanted to look into is the community that’s backing it.
I’ve been active in Steem through thick and thin, I was here during the all-time high at $7 and the dreaded all-time low at $0.12. Most of the users during the all-time high have slowly gone to an indefinite pause in their activities as the price of Steem gone low.
During those times there were a lot of complains but was addressed by the Steemit Team, Witnesses, and independent Dapp developers. When it comes to usability of the Steem blockchain and the Dapps that were built on top of it, I would say that the devs have done a great job in polishing Steem and the Dapps.
In addition, I would like to compliment the Steemit Team (@steemcurator01) for their 100 Days of Steem Initiative. It’s by far the most comprehensive program that they have and still pursuing at this moment. It’s also the most lucrative for the participants as well.
This is the kind of initiative that will improve user retention and engagement as well.
In the next days to come, I will be putting my best in participating in the Steem initiative and also help in creating promotional ideas and materials for the community. If we want our Steem to succeed, it has to start to every user like us.
This is a definitely encouraging post for the community sharing experiences here even in the difficult times. I also joined when steem was at that high, but at that moment I didn't know anything about cryptocurrencies. It has passed a long time but is short in comparison to this platforms.
It will be great to look at the future here. Thanks for dshare these thoughts on the World of Xpilar!!
I also learned about crypto here in Steemit and I'm really glad about it.
Yes, let's build the future here in Steem. Cheers!
Big hug and best vibes, @Funtraveller!! :)
