⚽ UCL Round of 16 - 2nd Leg Update and Contest Winner 🏆
The Round of 16 provided us with some interesting match ups and some great results. After the 1st leg, other than Manchester City's thrashing of Sporting, very little else had been decided. Liverpool and Chelsea the only other teams taking 2 goal leads into their 2nd legs.
Having been held to a 1-1 draw in Salzburg, Bayern started the Gameweek with a 7-1 thrashing to put those who captained Lewandowski at an instant advantage as he bagged himself a hat-trick after just 23 minutes. Some naive defending in the box giving away 2 penalties.
PSG will have been the most disappointed. After winning the first leg 1-0 and looking comfortable 1-0 up at the Bernabeu (thanks to Kylian Mbappe), I won't have been the only one to switch off thinking that the tie was over. Far from it as a 2nd half hat-trick by Karim Benzema put Real Madrid through to the Quarter Finals.

Things were close at the top going into the Round of 16 2nd Leg and it continues to be so. @brahmaputra's top score has moved him back to the top of the overall rankings with @chenty dropping to 2nd, 8 points behind.
