Tree hugging & post lockdown musings 🍃

Being outdoors in the sunshine is so nurturing and grounding. My children hugged the beautiful, shiny trunk of the cherry tree and enjoyed the coolness of the bark against their skin 🍃

Since lockdown has been lifted, I have carried on working from home which is bliss to an introvert like me 👩🏻‍💻 There is so much more noise now from cars and groups of people in and around our village and city, that I want to avoid going back to the office or shopping and enduring traffic jams and queues. I wonder how many of us will take the opportunity to slow down, be more environmentally conscious and live with more awareness as the world opens up again 🌍💭
