14.6.20 Cygnets 🦢 & orchard fruit 🍎🍐

Photos taken today at Milton Country Park, Cambridge 🦢

The swans came over for bread crumbs but were also very protective of their cygnets and one snapped at me when I leaned in a little to take a photo 🤳🏽

We discovered an Orchard at our local country park after having wandered off the beaten track. There were a few families picnicking, wild flowers and lots of apple trees. This appears to be a pear. I didn’t know they had this fluffy appearance when growing 🍐

The apples that were in sunny spots had a red blush. The trees gave shade for the children to run around and they had to be tempted to keep walking with the promise of an ice-cream 🍦

There was also a plum tree. We hope to return in the autumn to see the fruit ripen on the tree and taste an apple perhaps 🍎
