Japanese Macaque Eating A Leaf (Ink Drawing)
Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having a great weekend.
Earlier today, I stumbled on this family of monkeys known as the Macaque which I just got to know. They are mostly found in Northern Asia and are typical categorize as monkeys because they have tails unlike apes that don't. They are herbivores and feed on leaves, fruits, nuts and insects. I decided to pick one amongst all in the family to draw and I picked this Japanese Macaque because of its cute mesmerising eye and fur.
So here's a drawing depicting a Japanes Macaque eating a leaf while sitting in a grass land.
I made this drawing using a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are my steps in the drawing;
First, I drew the outline of both Japanese Macaque eating a leaf. I also added the facial features of the monkey in this stage. I also drew it's fur flow as a guide for the fur details.
Next, I began to shade and add details to it's face and some fur details to the skin.
I kept adding fur details to it's body and drew some grasses around the monkey.
Finally, I shaded the leaves and added some more details until I got a satisfactory result.
Thank you taking your time to read and view my drawing. Enjoy the rest of your day.
