Summer Portrait - B&W Photography and Art Contest - WEEK #164
Tamera posing for a photo.
This render is an entry to the B&W Photography and Art Contest - WEEK #164
Thank you to @axeman and World of Xpilar for hosting this contest.
Started with Genesis 9 Female...
I changed the camera positions, and the facial expression on her face.
I added eyes
Then I added hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, and a knitted dress.
This is the pre-render image, which is necessary to add makeup.
Added lipstick and eyeliner.
Final rendered image.
Secondary Render, Post Photoshop…I decreased the exposure, and enhanced her skin detail.
Tools and assets used:
Daz3D Studio, Iray and Photoshop
Genesis 9 Female Template
FE Teddy Hair
MK Ruffled Knit Dress
HDRI and Daz Lighting
Infinity CoveEnvironment
Background
In Summary:
- I start out with a model template and morph the body physically.
- I put the body into a position, change facial expressions, add makeup, dress the model, add skin texture, props, etc…
- I either can embed the character into the background or wrap the environment around the character, then add lighting and camera settings, like depth of field.
- Rendering times can take 2 to 6 hours per render.
- Postwork in Photoshop (adding imperfections in the skin, changing atmosphere and lighting, etc…)
Stay frosty people.
Oh that's really awesome 👍

Buen día, buen trabajo te quedó exelente la fotografía, es increible lo que se puede lograr cuando se domina la tecnología.
Thank you @aries197 :)
Me encanto, por un momento pensé que era real.🤪
Thank you so much @malenagarcia...I am trying harder to make these renders more real :)
A nice work of art, I had overall good feeling about it.
Just 2 cents, in terms of what scratched my eyes: an excessively light forehead, compared to the rest of the skin, and excessively (a bit unnaturally) shiny glittering eyes.
Thank you @jpegg :)
Incredible work as always
Thank you @offgridlife :)
Thank you @stef1 :)
This rly looks like a photo!
Thank you @ultravioletmag...I've been working hard on trying to make these renders more realistic :)
