Christmas Gift - Portrait Photography and Art Contest - WEEK #112
Riley, wrapping herself up for the Christmas season, with a little smirk on her face.
This render is an entry to the Portrait Photography and Art Contest - WEEK #112
Thank you to @axeman and World of Xpilar for hosting this contest.
Started with a Genesis 8 Female Template.
Started with the living room environment.
Added a Christmas tree and presents.
Added the completed model, after I morphed the body, changed her position, facial expression, and added a “gift-like” ensemble.
Final render.
Tools and assets used:
Daz3D Studio, Iray and Photoshop
Genesis 8 Female Template
2021-07 Hair
Unwrap Me Teddy Clothes
Daz3D Lighting
Cozy Christmas Living Room Environment
In Summary:
- I start out with a model template and morph the body physically.
- I put the body into a position, change facial expressions, add makeup, dress the model, add skin texture, props, etc…
- I either can embed the character into the background or wrap the environment around the character, then add lighting and camera settings, like depth of field.
- Rendering times can take 10 minutes to 2 hours per render.
- Postwork in Photoshop (adding imperfections in the skin, changing atmosphere and lighting, etc…)
Stay frosty people.
I love the smirk and eye contact here a lot, very appealing and touchy!
Btw - @axeman made a post telling his contests WENT TO VACAYS! probably he already landed somewhere in a land of no snow, and hiding himself from Santa ;))))
Yeah, I read that too....that's funny, hehe :)
A nice gift from Santa))
Absolutely :)
Beautiful work. I love the backlight. Good job as usual.
Thank you thank you @ranartblog. Yeah, the lighting turned out well.
