Fifay Travels: Shifen Old Street, Taiwan

On our 2nd day in Taiwan, we decided to visit Shifen Station.

Shifen Old Street is known for its sky lantern activity and various street foods.

Releasing of Sky Lanterns in Taiwan is quite iconic. You get to write your dreams and wishes in the lantern. Then you release it in the middle of the old rail track of Shifen.

We were not able to try it because its’s windy, however, we just took photos of some of the visitors who were able to release their sky lanterns.

Another unforgettable experience was the best street foods! There were Ice Cream Yogurt and THE MOST FAMOUS BBQ STUFFED WINGS! It’s a chicken wings that were debonned and stuffed with rice.

I was able to try it! It’s so tasty and satisfying worth every penny!

Lastly, the experience to board the train to reach this extraordinary place for an extraordinary experience.
