This is my contribution for this week's contest!
This was taken in the 9/11 memorial, which is right next to the famous One World Trace Center. The names of all those who lost their lives in the attack are written on the memorial and they place white roses in them whenever that person was supposed to celebrate his/her birthday. It's really moving.
May their souls continue to Rest In Peace
An unparalleled, unprecedented event. A unique and very valuable gesture in honor and memory of all those who suffered that event.
