Painting the Undead Priest

It's kind of a tragedy how I didn't know about the Splinterlands weekly art contest on time. In the past three or four months that I have been participating, I have leearnt a lot both by viewing other people's work and trying to understand their concepts and motivation and also by drawing or painting too.

As it stands, I got a skeletal reference with machine gun eyes (more like those figures you would see in the Terminator movies). I made some modifications and turned him into the card character of The Undead Priest. It took some doings seeing I wasn't too good with backgrounds but then "if you never try then you'll never know".

I felt the urge to share this as I woke this morning and so here I am...
