KRATOS: A Graphite Portrait
Circumstances can be intriguing. You know when I stated in my earlier post this morning how I missed a couple of steps, especially the capturing the lineart; I never knew I would be sharing this with you. As it happens, I just felt like editing this one and never took note until now when I was uploading it that I did the same thing here.
The last Kratos sketch I did was beautiful and upon spotting another perfect reference I tried drawing it to see how much I've learnt. And though the beards are somehow shady, the turnout is quite good.
These are the outlines....
Thanks for the visit friends, it is much appreciated.
I don’t know what kind of pepper is depicted in the portrait, but the portrait is magnificent, I mean the execution of the work and the master’s technique :)
Thanks a bunch.
I was lucky enough to find some old papers while cleaning up for my Dad about a year ago. Time had changed the color and texture. As for the execution, I can't take all the credit. lol
Aren't these your drawings?
They are, I was inspired by my brother @ezuntimmy to make this sketch and the previous one in particular is why I said I can't take all the credit
