'Eagle'; A Quick Sketch

I seriously exhausted myself yesterday while making a post for a contest I've been planning to participate in. It literarily drained all the mental strength I have been conserving these past few weeks.
The write up was beautiful and I honestly am proud of the outcome, I pray I win.

As a result of this, I almost went through the whole of today compensating for things I should've done overnight but didn't do. It almost left me without a sketch. But then in the eleventh hour, strength came and this eagle reference was a perfect pitch.

At first I was scared the capture wouldn't be neat because of the fading sun but then my device surprised me.

I made an alternate edit of the figure and would've gone with it for the whole piece but after asking around, the black and white became a favorite.
