A Will Smith Portrait - "Dashes After"

A few days ago, I tried making a sketch of a little boy. I planned on doing a sort of series. Anyways, somewhere in the middle I thought of using horizontal strokes instead of the usual blending and I really love the way it turned out. So as soon as I was done with that I decided to make a portrait of Will Smith back in the late 2000s and that's where today's sketch emanated.

It took a lot of time and lead to achieve what you see here but what the heck, it's worth it. I've been making more sketches with this technique and I can't wait to share them with you. Do feel free to leave a comment and don't forget to drop by tomorrow...
