A Pencil Portrait of 'Vin Diesel'

In the early 2000s we saw the rise of Vin Diesel and really it was fun. Prior to this time, he had played major and minor roles in movies from the 90s but the badass personality we see today was built in the 2000s (do correct me if I'm wrong, I'm only speaking from my movie experience which is not total or finite).

One of my favourite of his early movies was and is "The Chronicles of Riddick" year 2004. And my favourite line is 'you're not afraid of the dark, are you?'. After which he ended the scene...lol.
Funny how the same badass dude played the role of a Nanny in The Pacifier.

But it so happens that his most popular role in a movie so far was 'Dominic Toretto' the gangster/street racer from Fast and Furious. He deeply embodies that role and I must say it suits his personality.
I was shocked few months back while seeing Tom Hanks' "Saving Private Ryan". I was really shocked when I spotted Vin Diesel, I really don't understand how I misplaced the face all these years (it's really important to see movies in the space of years over and again, that's basically the only way we can understand the full plot, I think).
