Way back mid last year I was on a rampage and was making really epic sketches of characters I loved. After gathering tons of photographs, I started surfing for very graphic ones. It was my plan to make a sketch of Samwise Gamgee the sojourner who travelled with Frodo Baggins to Mordor from The Lord of the Rings, but I couldn't get a picture of him that was fascinating. All there was were clips from the movie which was barely clear and mostly of low quality
I however have been able to fulfill my fantasy of this character on paper and I'm this day sharing it with you. By far Sam is my favourite LOTR character. His patience, tolerance and weird loyalty really appealed to me as a person.
I made this sketch using my usual 2 an 8B Bianyo pencils.
