A Pencil Portrait of One of my Favorite Songwriters 'Leonard Cohen'
I first got to know Leonard Cohen when I saw the 1994 Mystery/Drama movie "Exotica" and at the end "Everybody Knows" was played. It had ever since then been one of my favorites. Sadly I never tried to listen to more of his music till I heard "You Want it Darker" played in between episodes of the third season of "American Gods" earlier this year. After that, I did listen to more and got to love most of them. My favorite currently is "Bird on a Wire".
I did make this portrait out of admiration cause as a writer myself, I've come to appreciate the beauty behind his word painting....do feel free to share your comments...

Your charcoal portrait drawing is very beautiful, and besides, I liked that you heartfeltly explained why you drew Leonard Cohen :)
Really, I'm blushing..... thanks.
His songs are intriguing and once you get to know them intently, you sure will get hooked.
I will take into account your recommendation :)
