A Pencil Portrait of Hugh Jackman as 'Logan'
As far back as memory serves me, I think the only portrait I've made of Hugh Jackman is one from the Logan movie and as at that, it was a replica of a digital work and it is directly below. I even just got to know in the process of checking if I spelt his name correctly that yesterday was his Birthday.....
Happy Birthday Hugh Jackman 🎂🎂.....in past tense...lol
I was inspired to make this sketch after seeing again some weeks back the 2006 classic 'The Prestige' where Hugh acted alongside Michael Caine and Christian Bale. The movie really struck a nerve this time around and I could recognize my younger self in the character of 'Alfred Borden'. I learnt or rather got reminded that fame and mastery of art with no close person to share it with is very boring and miserable.
This sketch was made using my 10B Bianyo and on the day I wrote my Keyboard Harmony exam. My eyes were really twitchy and I could barely believe the outcome. I do hope you like this one though, feel free to leave your comments below....
