A Pencil Portrait of Captain Jack Sparrow - 100% Power Up

It so happens that this time last month, on the first Sunday of July, I was called to accompany a choir that was singing Mozart's 'Gloria'. I on the other hand have always been a lover of romantic piano pieces which puts Mozart out of the question. But somehow that day, while playing, the song hit me differently.
On my way to the church, while in the bus earlier that day, I recalled it's been a while since I saw the Tom Cruise Production 'Mission Impossible' and I started in no instance downloading it.
During this process, I remembered also "Jack Sparrow"😁...and guess what I did....

I was able to do all these intense surfing because the distance from where I stayed and where I was headed was at least an hour and thirty minutes.

On getting home, I told my brother and sister and excitedly, we started seeing everything and with scrutiny, the way a critic would see a movie. And as usual, I was able to spot details that I had missed the first dozen times...lol

The inspiring tricky and treacherous Character of Captain Jack Sparrow and that of Captain Barbossa who from time to time cut deals with people who ignorantly fail to state their terms entirely really got me cracking.
I'd suggest you see the sequels again, it's a good watch and I must say that in making this sketch, I just couldn't stop saying the name 'Jack Sparrow' at intervals in the voice of Davy Jones😉

..in particular order, these are the shapes the portrait took before completion....

In making this portrait, I used my 8B Stædtler. Funny thing is that the pencil is almost finished and as a result, my grip on it was strong and intense, the light textures in the sketch is actually and intentional irony.
