A Pencil Impression of the Popular Comedian 'Charlie Chaplin'
Growing up, one of the most hilarious comic movies I saw was Charlie Chaplin's 1921 film titled; "The Kid" which he made alongside American actor and comedian Jackie Coogan. Who happened to be a young lad back then.
I'd have loved to make a full list but it's been years since I saw his collection and can probably only remember those I watched a dozen times. And as result I can say that "The Great Dictator" is also a good watch.
His comic personality also helped the victims of war forget for a while their immediate trouble. Comedy as I always say in my opinion is the most complete form of literature and Charlie publicly expressed that.
Merging different genres of drama and music together to create one whole, well rounded piece of art.
I made this sketch out of impulse and had every intention to make a full body sketch knowing fully well the comic personality behind his figure and shoes. But later on, I changed my mind....
Here's the sketch
