A Pencil Impression of "The Joker"

Some six months back, I made my first portrait of Heath Ledger and it was coloured, in it, I substituted the paper for the background white powder on his face. I don't think I shared that with you though...

It so happens that few days ago while I was musing, pondering what to sketch, I remembered Heath. And without hesitation, I collected different impressions out of which only two appealed to me. This is the first, the second should be coming up in a month's time.

I started the sketch with a Fei Yan brand pencil I just got. The pencil to many extent lacks depth but is very good for background shading and it has a nice texture so I figured I'll only use it for very light sketches.
