A Digital Piece; Centauri Mage

The day I made this piece, I was woken up by a colleague who wanted me to attend a certain event with her early this morning. I did go eventually but I made sure to first of all get my affais in order (arrange the house as fast as I could). When I got back, I started sorting my apartment, getting rid of any dirt. This took some time and energy and I had to take a break in between, rest and eat. Luckily, there was an ongoing Local Election slated for the next day so I was free to draw. This my friend was the reason I decided to do the clean up.
After all the drama and settlement of the day, I turned on my PC with the hopes of finishing the Splinterlands digital painting I had started earlier in the week of the Centauri Mage who happens to be by nature a forest dweller. This fact gave me little comfort for as you well know, I am not that good at drawing backgrounds so having a template or an original idea helped a lot.
I started the drawing pretty smoothly and went through all my regular procedures of my digital pieces which are; the lineart, fillings, depths and highlights. I am however working on something currently and would like to either improve this or totally redirect this process.
As always, it's been a pleasure hosting you, see you when I see you.
