An Anonymous Graphite Portrait

I've made several attempts over the years to grow my beards like this and it saddensmy heart that I have not been successful with it.

Somehow one event or the other comes up and I'm playing a very crucial role and I'm advised to shave so as the play the "Gentlemanly" role which responsibility had dumped on me.

I haven't lost sight however of this goal and will press well till my retirement.
But in the meantime I decided to draw this man's beards to compensate
