It is funny how people have different opinions about space, it is probably because of the exposure they have or the knowledge they have about the subject. While some are scared about anything related to space, others are happy, hoping to travel through space on day.

An example of those filled with enthusiasm for space is John, a college student who was one of brightest students in school. He was so obsessed with the idea of space; he would literally give anything to travel to space. It was as if his life depended on it. He had the dream of working with NASA after school, he said they would need all the information he had to improve the institution.

Anytime John talks about space, he speaks as if he had been there before and with so much confidence. You cannot argue with John when it comes to the topic of space, he will always win. Since I cannot match him in argument, I just hear him speak and probably learn one or two things from him. It is in one of these discussions he enlightened me on something I would share with you.

He had been studying the concept of space up closely and he told him he had found a discovery that is so fascinating. He said there is a place in space where light is of no essence. In this place, you can see even in the dark. There is no need for light in this place; even darkness is a myth there. He further emphasized that this place is in the shape of an egg, spherical. It does not rotate like the earth but it remains upright, hence gravity does not affect it. So, much talk about this place, he made me grow the desire to go there myself. I mostly wondered through his talk how he got all these information that is hidden from us, but I guess passion can push a man to do unimaginable things.
